ISLANDS OFF ATTICA, Aegina. Circa 525-480 BC. Stater (Silver, 24 mm, 12.25 g). Sea tortoise seen from above, head in profile. Rev. Square incuse with small skew pattern. Meadows Group IIc. HGC 6, 434. SNG Copenhagen 507. Beautifully toned and very well centered. Four banker's marks on the shell, otherwise, very fine.
